I’m a certified meditation teacher, transformational leader, and passionate advocate for helping others reclaim their lives from PMDD. My path to this work hasn’t been easy—but it’s been deeply meaningful. It brought me here, ready to support you as you navigate your own journey toward healing and empowerment.

My Story

For years, I struggled with the overwhelming symptoms of PMDD. Each month, I felt like I was losing control—over my emotions, my body, and my life. PMDD affected my relationships, work, and most of all, my sense of self. I know how isolating it can feel to battle mood swings, anxiety, fatigue, and the constant pressure to feel “normal.” It took years of inward reflection, self-compassion, and rebuilding to find my way out of the PMDD cycle.

My Turning Point

Eventually, I hit a breaking point. PMDD had impacted my marriage to the point of divorce and made it nearly impossible to sustain a job. Feeling lost, I took two years to rest, reflect, and fully commit to a healing journey.

During that time, I created what would become PMDD Liberation – A Meditation Journey—a practice built from my own healing path. Through meditation, cycle tracking, and phase-based rituals, I began to not only manage my symptoms but also reclaim my power. Today, I see honoring my cycle’s energy as a superpower, not a struggle.

Why I Teach

This experience showed me how transformative it can be to work with your body, not against it. I became a meditation teacher and coach to help others feel that same shift—especially those who feel like PMDD has taken control of their lives.

You can find peace, balance, and self-acceptance. You can reconnect with your body, soften shame, and step into your strength.

The Struggle I Didn’t Have Words For

For most of my life, I felt like something was wrong with me. I could never trust myself. Some days, I felt powerful—unstoppable, even. And then, without warning, I would spiral. The emotional intensity, the exhaustion, the self-hatred—it swallowed me whole.

It showed up in every part of my life:

  • In my relationships: One moment, I felt connected—then suddenly, I was pushing everyone away.
  • In my body: Chronic pain, fatigue, feeling out of control.
  • In my eating patterns: Starving myself for control or bingeing for comfort.
  • In my isolation: Canceling plans, withdrawing, feeling like no one could understand.
  • In my anger: Raging at things that didn’t even make sense, then drowning in guilt.

I thought it was my fault. I thought I was weak.

PMDD: A Name, But No Relief

When I was diagnosed with PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), I thought I’d found my answer. But instead of relief, I felt defeated.

The only solutions I was given? Birth control or antidepressants. No one asked about my past, my patterns, my pain. No one told me why this was happening.

And deep down, I knew… I wasn’t just fighting PMDD. I was fighting the belief that I was broken.

The Awakening: Meditation as My Medicine

I still remember the moment my therapist told me, “You need to meditate as your medicine.” I wanted to roll my eyes. I could barely make it through the day—how was I supposed to just sit still and “breathe” when everything inside me was screaming?

But something inside me was desperate. I was tired of feeling out of control. Tired of being at war with myself. 

Meditation Wasn’t About Sitting Still

No one had ever told me that meditation isn’t about stopping your thoughts—it’s about learning to be with yourself. I started small, just noticing my breath, letting my thoughts exist without trying to push them away. And slowly, I realized meditation wasn’t just a practice. It was a portal to understanding myself in a way I never had before.

It taught me how to:

By fully honoring the energy of each menstrual phase, I began to design my life and business around my natural rhythms. As I aligned with my cycle, I discovered how to work with its energy to accomplish my goals, build a thriving business, and create balance in my life. The Luteal Phase—My Mirror

The more I **listened to my cycle** instead of fighting it, the more I saw what had been hidden in plain sight. **PMDD wasn’t just about hormones.** It was showing me where I was out of alignment.

The **luteal phase**, the phase before menstruation, was exposing all the places where I was **giving my energy away**:

My Story & Why I Teach This Work

My journey to this work wasn’t easy, but it was deeply transformative. I learned to work with my cycle instead of against it. I discovered how my inner world—my beliefs, patterns, and emotions—was shaping my reality. And I started to heal.

Now, I teach others to do the same.

I created this work so you don’t have to figure it out alone. I know what it feels like to struggle, and I know what it takes to break free. My mission is to provide you with the tools, support, and guidance to help you step into the most aligned version of yourself.

The Healing Path: Learning to Trust My Body Again

When I started this journey, I didn’t trust my body. It felt like my worst enemy—unpredictable, overwhelming, and impossible to control. Every month, I braced myself for the **spiral**. The anxiety. The rage. The self-doubt that made me feel like a stranger in my own skin.

But what if my body wasn’t betraying me? What if, all along, it was **trying to wake me up?**

The moment everything changed wasn’t pretty. It was a **full-on breakdown**. I had spent another week trying to hold it together, smiling at work, showing up for everyone else, **ignoring the deep exhaustion pulling at my bones**.

And then one night, I cracked. **I sobbed. I screamed. I felt completely undone.** And in that raw, painful moment, a quiet truth surfaced: “I can’t keep doing this. There has to be another way.”

The transformational framework I teach is rooted in lived experience, deep study, and mentorship. My journey led me through years of personal healing—learning how to break generational cycles, work with my cycle instead of against it, and cultivate self-compassion through meditation.

As a mentor in Dream Bigger Foundation’s 40 Days of Transformation, I’ve helped many cohorts of people move through their own healing journeys. I’ve also supported three cohorts of meditation teacher trainees, helping them step into leadership and share their own wisdom with the world.

Through the mentorship of Justin Michael Williams and the Dream Bigger Foundation, I learned the power of combining meditation, light work, shadow work, and action to create lasting change. Justin has been instrumental in shaping how I approach transformation—always with compassion, curiosity, and integrity.
